Laydown style Air Filter ??

Does anyone know if other companies, in addition to Fioroni, will/are making the flat, laydown style air filter? I'd like to pick one of these up for next season.
Any feedback on these filters would also be appreciated..

Make one.

Join two 90 dec pipes from old air filter together and viola! (If you see what I mean.)

Not sure about any performance issues good or bad but possibly a little less dirt getting on it.

Try the one fitted to the new Hyper 8. It's certainly flatter, kinda [American] football shaped in profile, and should be a lot cheaper and easier to source to the Fioroni one.

I like the "idea" of it, but I can't get over the price tag... I saw it in a mag, searched it up, saw the price tag, then went away with my tail between my legs... $70 for an air filter? Hell, I only paid $40 for my K/N in my mercury!

Hey Ratz, what are the dimensions (height and length).

It looks big and I want to make sure it would fit under the body of my S3. Judging from the pics, I don't think it will since the S3's body sits so low but I want to be sure before dropping the coin.

Its a transponder. Many modern tracks have a scoring/lap timing system that consists of a loop of wire buried under the start/finish line connected to a computer. When your buggy crosses the line carrying the transponder it scores you for a lap. Some tracks have their own, others require that you purchase one. Each has its own ID, so no two are alike.
