Is that any mini that takes a normal 9.6v battery pack that most electic r/cs take? I was thinking about getting a mini but I don't want to waste my 5 packs.

:ponder2:

9.6V battery packs! I can guess you have the packs from some Nikko or Tyco toy RC?

First the issue would be to fit them on the chassis, this done not many stock ESC's take 9.6V.Most are rated to 7.2 and in some cases 8.4V.You could try 9.6 but I would call the company who makes them and inquire about it just to be sure.

One thing is sure, all mini ESC/brushless like the castle Creations and Tekin wwould work great wat 9.6V.Then the issue would be can these packs deliver the amperage? If not you would have big cogging.

Maybe I meant 7.2v... It's a 6 cell battery that most tamiyas take.

looks like this:
888----=

lol.

So no minis take those battery packs?

Minis(1/18 and 1/16 scale)take packs using 2/3A cells and 1/10th scale take Sub C cells.

Standard Sub C packs will not fit Minis.
