battery pack mod?

Has anyone modded there battery pack for there raido so they don't need to remove it to charge?

I just got the jack that normally sits in the futaba radios and soldiered it on where it morally is

IF you do a search you should find the one I did for the TQ3.
It's very simple as long as you can solder.
