Some new parts.....

All for my Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5

Picked up today:

2 pair ProLine Knuckles XLT compound tires for both on/off road

1 Fluorescent Green wing

2 pair of Fluorescent Green 10 spoke rims

New Shim kit - had to take up some slack. Anyone know where I can buy bulk shims???

Found out rather quickly that I will need spare tires mounted and ready to go. These things rip it up almost too good!

Razor - as soon as the weather breaks AGAIN I will get out and let you know. My concern is that when it is VERY cold out it changes the composition of the rubber causing them to get brittle and deteriorate quickly. So when it warms up I will let you know right away. Im sick of this weather already.......

Jason - Owned? By what? Your 100 mph rusty?

We have 1 8th scale track. www.wnyrcinfo.com has links to the only 2 tracks we have. Bens wont let us run 8th scale, however, we can at the other.

that site is cool. I wish there was something like that for eastern pa.

Çh®i§tiªñ, I'm looking at the Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5 too:

Whats the deal with the "Sport" thing? humboldt said if I ever wanted to upgrade to a pro, I'd reget buying the "sport". This means the Sport is something different from what you have?

Yes. Upgrading the sport, even with just the little things, will make it more costly in the long run. Not to mention, you would want a different pipe and mill. Im not going to say that its not a kickass ride, because it is. I just have not heard a lot of buggy guys talk highly of it. They all say the same thing. Get the Inferno kit and build it the right way the first time.

On a side note, the Kanai version 1 vs. Kanai version 2 is also a huge debate amongst Kyosho owners. They all say that the 1 is the way to go and the 2 is lacking. But, note, the 2 just took a world champ spot.....

All in all, every Kyosho buggy is kickass and a solid buggy. Just that out of the 4, the Inferno MP 7.5 and the Kanai 1 are the best according to the guys running them.

I see no real reason to not get the sport. Its like any other semi RTR ride out. You will want to upgrade it later. And in the world of 8th scales, NOTHING is cheap.

I run the Knuclkes in the back and the Crime fighters in the front and love them. On my track it gives my rear more bite and with the CF in the front I get a little less grip (what I want for the way I like to drive) I honestly bought the knuckles because Greg Degani won the World's with those tires so I had to try them. I put them F/R didnt feel quite right then tried them in the fron and didnt feel quite right, then I put them in the back and I was killing like 5-6 secs of laptimes. I love my JR Radio with its lap counter feature:classic:
