Mad PowerRacing 053

I bought this thing because it was reccomended by a good source. This thing is awful. I have yet to run it and never will its getting returned. First, the header is all dinged up. Secound i went through three exhaust gaskets because the exhaust opening on the pipe was too large, when i finally got one on the header would not fit over the gasket. Last the stinger appears to be an illegal size. So my truggy track date just got pushed back a week . I am going to order a HPI Ribbed pipe or JP1.

Well I guess the source wasn't a good one then lol. That sucks PiErow, thanks for sharing the info on that.

While we are taling about pipes, do you still have that vantage pipe? If its a low end Pipe I may take it off your hands.

Well, I'm pretty sure the stinger on the HPI ribbed pipe is illegal too, it's right around 1cm in diameter. (I assume you are talking about the HPI savage ribbed pipe, because there is no other hpi .21+ ribbed pipe that I know of...)

Ya, when I get around to upgrading my pipe, I plan on getting one of the JP pipes.....or perhaps a vantage....

sorry to hear about your luck. i love my PRP pipe. as do many pro's that ive spoken to about it, which is why i tried one to begin with. i havent had any gasket issues using the stock prp, os, and dynamite gaskets. your dinged header i would take up with shipping companies. also the stinger size? common now, you can run that pipe at ANY pro event in the US that you like and never have a problem. the only place you will get harrassed is when you try to race at a pro event in EUROPE because everything they run has to be efra certified.

Ya, the europeans seem to care a lot more about their enviroment then we do about ours, lol. I mean, there is SSSSSOOOO many more sound barriers out there, and errosion barriers and all that. And, you get in quite a bit of trouble if your car is too lound (except if you have a ferrari or lambo or something, cause well, who can get mad at you then?! and also due to the fact that the stock pipes pass the emissions tests and all) But, a friend of mine had an ATV, and the Polezei (I lived in Germany for 7 years) would always get mad at him, and suggest getting an ELECTRIC ATV?! WTF?!, so as you can guess, they are pretty strict....

Wow, I de-railed so much, I forgot what this thread was about...

Wow sorry to hear of the bad luck. I used PSI's PRP on my Storm with zero fitment issues. The only buggy I had a problem with like that with was my Ofna RTR, the header ID was big going on to the mill. It used a bigger gasket. I tried to put my Storm pipe on it and it was a no go. Weird.
The JP-1, cant go wrong with that!!
