Gearing
This is on a truggy running 40 series bowties.
I have a 62t spur, i run a medium size track, a straight about 35 yds. Which size cb do you reccomend? And which brand? Right now i have like 2 14t mugens. |

Well since your running a MSR I would stick to a moogen bc, just to be sure you get the best mesh. What mill are you running? If you have a mill that likes to rev I would to with a 13, but if you have a stump puller I would go with a 14. I ran both 13 and 14 in my LSP and I've gone back to the 13 because I don't have the best mill I don't want to over stress it. If your getting one of those Nova's I would go with a 14 and maybe even a 15. Those are just nuts!

I run 12/62 on a mutant maxx truggy and a fantom .27......it revs high and pulls hard so every now and then I swap to a 13 for tracks w/ long straights.....I want to get a 65t on and try a 14t...here's a primary drive ratio selection to give you an idea of what the differences are
...................62 Spur................65 Spur 12CB.........5.166666667.........5.416666667 13CB.........4.769230769.........5 14CB.........4.428571429.........4.642857143 15CB.........4.133333333.........4.333333333 16CB.........3.875...................4.0625 17CB.........3.647058824.........3.823529412 18CB.........3.444444444.........3.611111111 |
