Inferno MP 7.5 with O.S. RZV 01B and Rossi Pipe.
Attempted to break it in last week and quickly realized the needle settings were Waaaaayyyyyyyy off! Today, found the factory settings, broke it in with about 6 tanks and man all I can say is HOLY SHIT! This thing is a SCREAMER! I wasnt buying into the fact that a single speed could get up to 50+ but now I am a believer! A couple more tanks and I should be able to get high 50's out of it! All the while, I never hit a temp over 160!!!! |

LOL! A brick! I HAVE NEVER called yours a brick, but, well, now....
Yeah they go VERY fast! 8th scale buggies are no joke. Can be VERY dangerous as well. I double, triple and quadruple check my EPA's and Failsafe settings etc. Dont want a runaway! |

Yeah Christian, I just got a Ofna Hyper 7 pro with a O.S. RG-21 and even thought the motor is still the lowest rated hp out of the OS bunch I was still just ripping guys apart at the track this last weekend. I too cant get over how damn fast and durable these things are. The only problem I had was 1 broken shock shaft and 2 stripped out steering knuckles this last weekend and the guy at the counter told me that was a problem with the ofnas and he tried to get me to sink $65 into a set of CNC steering knuckles but I didnt have the cash so I had to settle on the cast pair. But on another note a buddy of mine stripped out a knuckle on his MP 7.5 so it may be a buggy problem in genral. Anyway best of luck to ya!

I only ended up losing a set pin for the shock. Found a 3x30 set of four for the savage so I used them as replacements. I forgot to install the set screws that hold the front ones in. Cool part was I didnt have to wait for replacement parts. I dont have an LHS in Buffalo that keeps parts for the Inferno on hand. Oh well.
Still is a blast with this thing. If it stops raining I hope to get it out today again! |
