hyper 7 finnaly came!

HEY everyone my hyper 7 finnaly came! Im so happy. Ill post pics as soon as i figure out how. I ran my first 2 tanks of break in so far just to get them out of the way. Wat break in methods have you guys used on your buggy? Or wat break in method do you reccomend? I went first to tanks almost up 2 half throttle. I have to say ofna did a killer job and am very happy with my purchase (even though the first two break in tanks were a real PITA). Cant wait to see wat its really made of.

Pics are comming. STAY TUNED.

I used the method in the manual that came with my Wasp .28. I can't remember exactly what it was but it was not the heat cycle method. PM sent...

i used the idle method... (i know i know im supposed to heat cycle it) but my motor starts on the 1st or 2nd pull every time and still has amazing compression after about 1-2 gallons. the hyper 8 port is a very nice motor and you will be very happy with it. im gonna get the OS 20E carb for mine soon, my 8 port is gonna tear.

Ok, the idle method is basically letting your engine idle on a stand for a few tanks of fuel, then you put it on the ground and drive it very slow leaning the HSN by 1/8 of a turn every tank until you get good solid performance. Its less time consuming than the Heat Cycle method.

Many people use the heat cycle method because it lengthens the life of the engine, but max power comes a little later in life. The idle method is reccomended by most manufactureers because it is a less complicated precedure and it gets the engine to its max performance level fast, but you sacrafice a little bit of engine life.
