Looks old and weird. Nice and clean though. Shock towers look flimsy and I'm not too keen on the center diff being so far back. Sorry I can't help much.

Where does the engine mount?

Do you have a top view?

My advice, stay away from it! Why buy something that is either old and obsolete, or hard to find parts for? Why not buy something more current and easier to modify and maintain? Just my 2$ worth

check into the athletes and super athletes. thats a really old buggy, center diff in back engine mounted backwards, looks like battery in center who knows where they are hiding the servos and receiver. if your thinking of buying it, id look elsewhere. general rule of thumb is, if you dont even know what it is, good luck finding parts for it.

Yep, it looks like the Mugen Athlete. I found pics of a Super Athlete at it looks like the upgraded version of the one on ebay so it must be the Athlete.

I know a rich old guy who collects hundreds of these things in his huge cellar
also circuit racers like all the Deltas even the 4x4
you name it he's got it, but this one ?
each all complete, with topmotors, pipes, max of very special tuning parts, bought in countries all over the world and top radiogears, just standing there

and also 100's of ancient midget types with sort of cox motors
