brake fade
my buggy stops quite well un till its been driven for a while then stopping is a problem even at low speeds it has dual steel disks and emory type pads the adjustments stay in place it just doesn't want to stop.

Sounds like 1 of 2 things or even 3 may be happening.
1. Your batteries could by dying to fast. Try a new pak if you have a spare. Are you using NicD, Nimh or standard batteries? 2. Servo could be overkill - which could be causing the drain on the batteries. What servo do you use? How many oz. torque? 3. Sometimes nitro will leak from bearrings around your mill, and usually end up in places that are bad, such as the braking system. Check and make sure there are no fuel leaks. Especially by the front bearring on the crank shaft. |
