i broke an out drive the other day and went to replace my diff gears, put it all back together and now it is only front wheel drive. so i took it back apart and did everything over and got the same result. the center drive shaft is turning. i'm almost positive that i put the diffs back together right because i've done it before. anyone have an idea why i can't get it to work.

did you tighten the diff enough so the plates touch the diff balls?

i tightened it down all the way, then backed off a half turn like the book said. should i try to keep it all the way tight?

i got the rear wheels working now, but they are reall weak. they pull but stop really easy, and it won't even catwalk anymore. i can't figure it out.

sorry, i ment wheelie. we just use to call it that on 4-wheelers sometimes. i dont know why. but anyideas why the rear wheels won't spin as strongly as the front ones.
