Breaking in a Racing buggie

Hi guys Normally how i would run/break a nitro engine in is i would run a tank through it at tickover to loosen it up a bit then i would take it out and run it slowly for 3-4 tanks then run it slow to medium on 4-7 tanks then on the 8th id give it short bursts upto full throttle.
Now ive got a hyper7 with a Ofna 8port boost engine and i intend on racing it.. What would the best way to run it in be.. Because ive spoke to a few people at model shops who run their racing buggies in on a bentch with the wheels off the ground.. I thought it was best to run it in driving it on the floor so the engine was under load..? Im not sure what the best way to run this engine in would be.. Can it be done on a bentch? or would i be best running it like i have run my previous engines..?
Thanks for your help
Andy

I would stick with the wheels of the ground for the 1st one or two.....(letting it cool down in between) then as you said on the floor with short bursts etc.
