Problems GRRR!!!!

I have an xb8 and am building it. i live 1500 miles from the nearest hobby shop so i had to order evrything. My first problem is i got an airtronics sanwa MX-3 fm radio. The servos i got are futuba S3003 for throttle and S9402 for steering. anyway the servo plugs dont plug into the reciever. the reciver says it takes "Z" plugs. is there any way of modifing the plugs to fit or should i get new ones. The plugs look like if i cut a tab off the side it would work.

My secong problem is that i got an OFNA Picco .26 engine with pull start because i am going to bash for another year then move to a place with a track so i can race and i will get a new engine. Anyways the motor mounts that come with the XB8 wont work and i cant even modify the mounts to make it fit. Is there anyway i can use this engine or will i have to get an engine without a pull start?

Yes, you can cut off that tab. It's a common practice.
You'll have to wait for someone else to help you with the engine mounting.

The engine mounts that come with the xb8 are for non-pullstart engines only. You might be able to make new engine mounts.

make sure you have the wires in the plug the right way not sure if they are or not. You can get a new back plate maybe and then use a bump/box but no you cant use the pull start on the XB8 as far as I know. Most upper end race 1/8 cars have to use a starter box

yup sorry, non-pullstart engines only. youll thank yourself in the end because a starterbox is so easy to use, and every bigblock pullstart ive ever had has broken just because the engines have so much compression.

as for your servo plugs, yeah just trim off the tabs. a good idea would be to make a little sticker up with the wire colors on it, so that you dont plug things in backwards. that could be an expensive mistake.
