Diff School Please
I would like to know what the diifs do interms of my K3. There is a torsion in the fron woth red tcd oil, reg diff in the center with 4,000 wt oil, and a reg in the rear with 1,000 wt oil. I was just wondering how these diffs worked together, was each ones main responsibility, and what would increasing the wt oil in them do. thnks

The center diff splits power between the front and rear diffs which then split and send the power out to the wheels. If you use a heavier weight oil it will slow down the action of the diff making less prone to unloading, or sending all the power to the one wheel which is off the ground. Obviously when this happens ya don't go nowhere, so people use oils to help prevent this. I hope I explained this right, anyone else have a better explanation?

I run 7K in the center diff, seems to work pretty good for me.
