Kyosho Inferno MP7.5 Kit???

Hey guys,

Just looking for a little info about this kit (thier website doesn't tell much). Right now I have an X-Terminator and I was wondering would this kit be an improvement over that in terms of quality and handling ect...?

Basically I LOVE building R/Cs and have not had the chance of building a 1/8 buggy because the X-T was RTR. I've selling hop-ups from my RS4 and its down to about stock and I want to sell it as a roller, anyone interested? I've made about 200$ so far and looking to sell it around 150$, anyways back on topic. It seems these days all the kit buggies are like 600$ and over so I've been looking for a relatively cheap kit buggy to buy. I alredy have electronics and a mill so all I want is a kit. I found the Kyosho Inferno MP7.5. It sells on tower for only 349.99$.

I'd love any info on this buggy. Pics would be awsome!!!

Oh yeah, I'm not looking for the Kanais or anything just for a good quality basher

Thanks!!!

Hey i have the MP 7.5 and i Love the thing it handles and jumps GREAT! I have a O.S. RG .21 in it. I only got to race it a few times before the season ended but did great with this buggy nice and durable. And since im a begginer 1/8 racer you can bet ive have my share of bad wrecks on the track. Its held up great even for bashing around. You can check out my gallery for a few pics. I you want any pics of a particular area of the buggy just ask.

Right here! Upgraded to a Kanai II though! The only thing I really did'nt like was the original kit comes with dogbones vs cvd's. Everything else was good to go! Any other questions, just LMK!

I'll be taking a engine, pipe, radio system, and clutch from my old buggy. I might upgrade all these later and put them back into my old buggy so I could have two, we'll see.

Can I use 4 AAs or do I have to get a hump pack? What shock oil do you run?

Thanks!

i wouldnt suggest using AA's just dish out and get a nice hump pack youll be happy that you can recharge between races and not worry about your battery level. And also if you dont already have one get your self a failsafe too!

I run 35wt in my shocks i think im gunna go for 45wt though it seems a lil too soft.

But the 4-AA pack will fit in the case right? I'm planning on getting a hump pack but will be running 4-AAs temporarily.

As for shock oil, something like this http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXKB51&P=ML should be fine, right? Will I only need one bottle for all 4 shocks?

I know I'm asking a lot of questions, I've built other R/Cs, just not buggies.

Yes the 4 AA pack will fit.

Yes that shock oil is fine and is more than enough you beable to clean and fill your shock a few times prob with that bottle.

Dont worry about the questions thats what we all are here for, to learn and to help.
