Ofna RTR Radios
I have a Violator RTR with the stock Ofna Radio. My radio antenna has broken, I want to replace it. I called Ofna and they said that the radio uses a Futaba antenna, can anyone verify? Here is the link of the radio antenna I found on tower-is this the right one?

Not sure, but this one is on the possible substitution list: Durtrax Antenna and it's cheaper.

An antenna is an antenna as far as transmitters are concerned to my knowledge. You'd be hard pressed to have a transmitter that does not use a standard antenna. I'm sure the OFNA brand uses the same one as the Futaba... they all do pretty much. That is the correct antenna BTW.

I know the antenna's are different on the recievers. They are specific lengths and gauge of wire that is tuned to the frequency band the receiver is built for. I would almost have to think that the same may apply to the xmitter as well.
