yes that does suck, and it sucks again having to stock up on parts for an rc just in case you break it. The next top of the line buggy would be the MBX 5, I dont know if you even want that one but if you are going for top of the line does you hobby shop sell parts for that, and if so you my consider changing you buggy choice to the MBX5. Unless you really want the kanai then go with what your LHS has parts for, cause you will break something, and you really dont want to have to wait a week or more for a part to come by mail. There are other buggies that can be hopped up and made into really nice race buggies, maybe for even less than the kanai.

so why dont you ask the shop to start carrying kyosho parts. the shop i deal with is pretty flexible with that sort of stuff. i asked him to stock a certain brand of fuel i like, he did. i told him i bought a micro heli, he now carries parts for that too. i just bought a PRP swift, and now he will carry those parts for me. he knows im rough on my toys and will buy the stuff eventually, and it gives other customers a chance to get exposed to new products. and diversifies his shop to better cater to everyone who walks in the door. customers who already have a need for the parts, that he never even knew about, can now get them locally too.

why dont you move? Or if your really serious, buy 2 kits, one to build and keep the other for parts.

Man, Kyosho parts are so cheap on Ebay now, I got all the KIII diffs for under 100 bucks, I got all the arms for about 50. I can give you a list of what I would buy and have on hand.

#1 Front arm set
#2 Front Knuckles and tie rods (I got these for 17 bucks together)
#3 Rear arm set (I got these for 21.00)
#4 Set of titanium turnbuckles http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

Those are the main things I have had to break.
