Ofna Violator Owners

I have been runing my Violator for a number of weeks now with no problem. Last weekend I attempted to start the buggy and noticed it wouldnt start-after inspecting the engine I noticed that one screw was missing from one of the corners of the shaft start plate (top right). Having ordered a bunch of screws from rcscrewz I attempted to insert the correct screw into the top right corner of the shaft start plate, but it just kept on turning and not catching the metal on the other side. Naturally I thought it was stripped, but after close inspection I noticed there was no hole on the receiving end of the metal plate behind the plastic shaft start plate to accept the screw. I called OFNA and they told me that out of the four holes, one is a dummy and that I should remove the screw from the top left and screw it into the top right with locktite. But the screw doesnt catch, perhaps they put the wrong screw. Moreover, there is a metal plate behind the shaft start plate that OFNA advised we remove and replace one screw at a time with locktite. Anybody else have this problem?

I had a similar problem wiith the backplate of my BO1 stock storm engine. It is a pull-start not a roto start but it might be fixed the same way. The screws on the back weren't actually holding on the back plate like I thought, I needed to remove all four screws, take off the cover of the pull start assembly, carefully remove the springs and spool of the pull start, and then I could get at the back plate screws to seal up the engine airleak.
