Kanai Buggy Owners!!!

I have a K3 and when ever I come off a jump that gives me around 4 or more feet of air and I land on one front wheel particularly the left, the suspension compresses so far that it pulls the dog bone end out of the diff. out drive. I have set my shocks up so that the shock will run out of upward travel as soon as possible but it still does it. It is ticking me off, so what to do?

Also today I was just going to do a check up on my rear diff. cause something seemed a little stiff when I would just roll the buggy on the ground, so I decided to go with the rear, as it is the easiest to get to. The diff. housing was almost full of some kind of gray powder, it kind of looked like graphite, there was no grease left, just very dry powder. I took some pics. but for the life of me I could not figure out how to put the pics. in my gallery, so that I could post them, so I could use some help with that also. The pinion gear was a little worn but still usable and the bevel gear had no wear, so where could all the powder have come from, I was using the grease that came with the kit.

Put a small piece of fuel tubing inside the drives and on the other side and it will stay in place.

Go to upload photos in the gallery and hit browse and open the file and hit upload and it should go from there.

Maskale - I had the same problem with the powdery stuff in my dif, i think maybe alittle water got in the dif housing and kinda driedup the grease, i took my difs apart and rebuilt them with oil, you should do the same before your replacing the bevel gears, it gets expensive.. as far as your dogbones, lol this is a wierd thing happening to them.... maybe your springs are to loos and your a-arm is coming up to far, but right now, im looking at my freinds k3 here and there is like.. no way for the dog bone to come out.. we have his shocks off, he is rebuilding them right now.. and its some wierd stuff..

Fuel tubing in the drives? what will that do? the dog bone pulls out, i dont get the connection with the fuel tube.

I did the whole up load thing and i just could not get it to work so i ran a search here to see how others do it and i got some info, well i found that my pic was 1.2mb so i got it down to 49k and it still would not work.

The tubing tightens the fitting of the dog bones instaed of them pushing to one side and falling out.

PM Woodie with the loading problem.

BSchorr i agree my suspension is coming up to far an pulling the dog bone out, but no matter how stiff a spring i put, if i land hard enough it will still compress to far and pull it out. right now i have blue springs on. I dont know how water could have got in, but the powder was not in the diff it self it was around it. I did take the diff apart and it was fine, but i did go ahead and clean out the old oil and replace it.
