I second that motion . I have it and it takes a beating . I have done any House jumps lately or any crazy ass jumps like El Pirata has but it is strong as heck. and many cool options.

the only difference between the two is that the pcr has lay-down servo's. if that's imortant to you, then by all means get the pcr, if you don't really care, save some dough and get the pbs. they're both strong as hell.

Almost everyone at the track down here with the PCR switches out the laydown servo plate for stand up ones. I guess the general consensus is that the laydown throttle servo is too complicated.

Another common change people seem to make on the Hyper 7 is to replace the pivot ball suspension in the front with a C Hub setup.

Basically, it doesn't really matter which one you get, since you'll likely end up changing it around to the way you like it anyways.

I had a pbs and i think it was tough but i could not get the pbs front suspension parts for it so go with what you can get parts for.

It really sucks when you buy a buggy at LHS and they dont even carry parts for it.

yah tell me about it. one of the main reasons i bought my x-terminator was because my lhs had a ton of parts for it.

Not a very good LHS if they are selling the buggies and not supporting them by stocking parts. I know that my LHS stocks parts for all of the buggies that they sell, and even more.

It's all up to you if you for which one to get... differences are pointed out above. If you are sticking with the OFNA buggies, look at what these guys have to say, they all have them.

Yeah, save some $ and get the PBS.. the laydown servo system is junk.. to switch your steering servo.. oro anything like that.. takes an act of congress.. to get enough time between races to do it.. and its such a pain.. Every PCR owner here.. has switched to the stand up servo option as well..

I have 2 PBS's and love them both. I beat them to death and they just keep going.

From everything I've been hearing, very few are like yours apparently. Within driving distance from myself, there's six hobby shops. Every single one has a GS Storm on the shelf. Two stock *any* parts for them. And what they do stock is not much, but they can "Get anything for me" of course, but that just means them ordering from Horizon Hobby and then charging me more then what I would pay direct to Horizon, and I'd get it quicker if I ordered direct.

Maybe this is something that is common in the seasonal parts of the world, where you only have half the year to use 8th scale. I don't know.

Yeah... there are a couple of shops like that around here too... but one imparticularly has pretty much everything for everything, including air and water vehicles... they have an indoor carpet onroad track as well.
