Seems good to boost sales, but seriously, ofna have been dragging out the old ultra lines far too long, and I think it's high time the designs hit the trashcan.... the LX/MBX pro releases were okay, but I think thats where the line gets drawn. Enough is enough.

The parts quality is inferior, the design is old, and for similar prices you can look around and find something much closer to the "race" offerings out there. HB lightning etc...

and imo making the fuel tank bigger and widening the stance, both beyond what is race legal, is a lame excuse for a new buggy release, and is probably just as useless to a basher as to a racer. (i'll also admit though, ofna aren't the only ones with lame excuses for new buggies these days... but thats another kettle of fish)

In short I think it's high time they ditched those old designs and found something new to sell to the budget buggy buyer.

thats just my take on it anyway...

Does that head looked scratched or is it just a bad photo ? I can't imagine releasing a photo of a new buggy using a scratched head. And I don't like the configuration of the steering linkage. There are other buggies that do this as well. The linkage from the servo to the steering post/saver is exposed. It's on the outside just waiting for some rock or stick to jump up and jack it off. I prefer it when the linkage is on the other side, towards the center of the chassis better protected.

I thnk the scratches are just in the way they modified the picture. If you consider white blotches scratches then they tires have some too

Any positve notes on this new release? what did they do different than the last one.

It looks Like they ran it because of the scratches on the head because the body fits over them mine violator scratched the head in the same places becasue the body was to tight. I do belive it will be about 350$
