Need advise regarding Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5

I just received my Inferno MP 7.5 and I need advise.

Which pipe should I purchase for it? The car will be mostly for bashing, but I may consider entering some races later in the year. I purchased the OFNA Hyper 7 8-port engine to be used. Also, will the manifold that came with the Hyper 7 work, or will I need to get another?

I am going to start assembling the car tonight, and hopefully have everything together for Saturday.

One more question. What shock oil weight should I use for the front and the rear shocks?

The diff oil I am going to use is 5K/7K/1K (F/C/R). It is Pure Silicon Diff oil from GS Racing. Is this good oil to use?

Also, should I use rubber cement or goop?

Any other advise or help is appreciated.

I cant think of anywhere you would use any type of glue on a 7.5 except the tires. You should use glue that is made specifically for that purpose.

Seems you got the right wt for the diffs. I use 35wt in the front shocks and 45wt in the rear.

As for the pipe, just about any .21 sized pipe will work. What you have to ask yourself is where do you want your power? If you want it down low you'll want a pipe with a long sloping cone and if you want top end you'll get a sharp cone and a long tube. Personally, I like a little of both.

Other than that seems like you know what your doing so just get her built and have some fun.

Yup, robriguez has you heading in the right direction. Along with his advice on pipes, the below link breaks it out even further. Got some great pics of the different types and what they will do for you. Have fun with the assembly, take your time and get it right the first time. If you reach a step that you don't understand, come back to the forums. Good luck.
