WHAT IS THAT? And which way is it going? No patent infringements with that thing.

Looks like they're moving the CG way forward and running front wheel drive. Seems like a plausable design theory. It'll be interesting to see if they become mainstream or just another WTF for the google search.

If any of you guys have been around since the late 80's, You might remember the "BULLET" wich was actually made by my LHS it was basically a front wheel drive RC10. The best part about them is the fact that the pulled through the corners and would clean house on the rear whell drives. I think that those are just nitro powered front wheel drive buggies. I bet they are a blast to drive.

well my NMT is currently only FWD (not by choice lol) and it absolutely sux ass. While fish tailing on purpose and donuts are fun for a while it has absolutly no traction on anything other then pavement.
The chain drive on the second one is kewl but cannot be very smooth.

It looks like the first 4 pics are front wheel drive, with engine forward for more traction.
The other pics might be 4WD, but it's hard to tell from the photos.

Also since they are engine foward designs, you would have better traction. I have seen the electric FWD and its actually pretty cool. When you take a 4WD and just break the rear end, it doesn't make it a FWD car. When you change the geometry and move weight though it could be fun.
