Wing damage (pic), money well spent.

Wingmount brace - $5.95
Hardcore Ti shock tower & Fioroni blukhead brace - priceless !!
Took a bad landing today and the wingmount brace took the brunt of it. But it's a cheap fix thanks to the Hardcore and Fioroni parts. (Buggy came straight down on the wing from about 20 ')

Mine looks just like yours at the moment...Wingless. I busted mine jumping a fence. I ordered a new one and a spare from the LHS. It's just too bad they're on backorder.

In the name of RoadRunner, RCNT, and the RC Hobby, I'll jump a fence tonight and film it to revenge your crash!

All of the LHS are out of them right now, but you can order them online from Tower or Horizon. It's a stock replacement wingmount set for about $5.95. The shock tower is from Hardcore Racing. It's Titanium and worth every penny I spent on it. They have other Titanium pieces for the Storm as well. If your looking for aftermarket support for the Storm, there's plenty.

Be sure to use a Toys R Us skate ramp. Prop it up with some bricks for a little more kick, and be sure to tail tap the top of a chain link fence.
I'll be looking foward to your vid.

How much of an effect does the wing have on the performance of a buggy? Would you really notice not running with it? Is it more for protection of the buggy if you land upside down?

Don't forget to tail tap the top of the fence!!! I left the wing on one side and the buggy on the other. BTW, it was an eight foot chain link fence, and yes it was a crappy ramp.

Yes, Yes and Yes. And for RoadRunner......My fence was not 8 foot tall, I'm not that cool and couldnt find a 8 foot fence anyway, so I just jumped the one in my back yard, I'm uploading the video now.

FIXED LINK! I didnt bust my wing, I did almost hit a dog on the landing, lol, damn dogs never shut up anyway. This was done to get revenge upon the fences. RC-1 .... Fence-1...I wanna see EP jump some damn razor wire to finish off the battle.
