Fioroni Turbo Slide clutch ??

Anyone try out this clutch yet? I was thinking of getting one for my Hyper 7 Pro. Will it work with the OFNA clutch bells?

I got this on my Maxx, ImB. I had to get an eighth scale CB and a 32P metric spur. (Back to that whole 32P SAE/32P metric thing.)

I can't remember if the clutch bell was an Ofna or not. The receipt only says "clutch bell". I bought the clutch, bell and spur from a place called Dusty Attic in Ohio. They were recommended to me by a representative of RRP.

RRP had made a batch of 32P metric spurs that fit the T-Maxx RRP slipper clutch and sold them all to Dusty Attic.

I would think since you're talkin' buggies, the Ofna CB would bolt right up.

It really looks like a nice setup... No more shoes to wear down, and a larger surface area for the shoe to grab... Thanks WDH....

I've got one for sale if anyone wants it!

FR-51 fly wheel & FR-52 carbon shoes (complete set up)

I ran them about 20 laps total & they show no signs of wear!

I'll sell the set up for $45 shipped

I just don't need all these clutch systems sitting around collecting dust!

If interested email: sro_oo@yahoo.com (Fioroni in the subject)

Thanks, Steve

just some more info on how it works, for those of you (like me) who are curious!

What is the difference between Fioroni’s Turbo Sliding clutch and regular Sliding clutch?

Both clutches operate on the same principle, but are completely different in design. The major difference is the contact surface area, and the way they engage. The Turbo Sliding Clutch, slides up against walls on the flywheel and has 2 large contact points, while the regular Sliding Clutches make either a 2, 4, or 6 point contact area on the cutch bell and sits on rails on the flywheel. The advantages of a Turbo Clutch are its powerful and consistent engagement, easy installation, near maintenance free use, and a longer life span due to its large contact area. It also gives you the option to adjust the stall by allowing you to use 2 or 3 springs. The Sliding Clutch allows for further fine tuning, similar to that of conventional 3 & 4 shoe clutches without the installation and maintenance hassles. You can choose 2 points for maximum punch applications e.g. high-bite tracks, 4 point for normal traction surfaces, and 6 point for loose, slippery surfaces. Both the Turbo & Sliding Clutches are available in 2 different compounds to suit your needs, Carbon (aggressive engagement), Teflon-glass (smooth engagement). Both compounds endure extensive fade free performances compared to other clutches; Teflon-glass having a slightly higher life span, and the Carbon being best suited for all out racing purposes.

Sorry Christian, my buddy Cbreaker bought it.

However I did find another for sale on RCZ if anyone is looking for a setup, he wants $50 shipped & says its got less than 1/2 gal. on it so in my opinion it should show no signs of wear! Those carbon shoes are tough!

Shoot me a PM if anyone wants the link..

Steve
