Shock oil
I have used:
Mugen 350 cps Losi 30 wt Losi 45 wt Losi 50 wt Asc 40 wt Selecting the right weight of shock oil depends largely on the track layout. If your track has many Big Moto-cross type jumps or bunch of chassis punding bumps, then you need thicker oil to prevent the chassis from slapping the ground and usually making the car very unstable. On the other hand, if the track has lots of smaller bumps or is very rutted, any "packing up" of the shocks would make the car bounce and thus very unstable. In that case you should try lower weight oil that is thinner. |
