Got My Storm Pro

Hey All,

Well I just got my Storm Pro... it has never been run... I got a great deal on it. Here is a few snap shots of it... I bought a Hyper 8 Port and still need to get servos. I am looking forward to running this puppy as soon as the weather gets better.

Very nice find Sly! You will enjoy it! I would definetly start shopping for some decent buggy tires though, the ones that are on it now wont last 2 tanks with a hyper8, Excellent car though! I am surprised to see a storm pro thats never been run, looks way too clean!, get out there and get that bitch dirty! If you havent found tires yet, I am running proline knuckles and crime fighters on my storm now,They have been great! I highly recommend them! Good luck with it and have fun!

I also have a set of Knuckles on my Storm, and nitro is right, they rock. As far as servos go, I'm still running the stock JR's but I have been doing my homework and Hitec have a great line.
Here's a good link that will help you in your search.

Don't they look so sweet when they are nice and new and clean like that?

Those actually look like decent street tires on there, it's nice to have a set for tuning the engine and steering and suspension settings. I plan on getting a set of Proline street tires for mine for this very purpose. (it's also neat for seeing how fast you can go!)

The servo savers look different on the Pro then they do on the RTR. Hmm.. another thing to buy.. heh

If you notice there is no servo hooked up, I am not sure if that is the original servo saver that came with the kit. It was already built when I got it.... I need to pick up some dirt track buggy tires.... they look kinda steep...

Servos!!! I am using hitec645mg for steering and 525mg for throttle/brake, I only have other hitec servos to compare then with so I will just say this, It turns on a dime and brakes on a dime as well, so far this combo has worked extremley well for me. I have never used a different servo in my storm, I have used JR's in My Ntc3 and liked them, but I dont think I would use anything but hitecs, 2 year warranty and the customer service is outstanding!

The front tires gotta be swapped too. The treads are facing the wrong way. The V's are supposed to point forward. Other than that, nice buggy.
