You can find a Mugen MBX5 for about $500. I will say it is a great buggy and Mugen has awesome history in RC. Parts are solid, engineering is some of the best, it has a low center of gravity. I leave it to others to speculate what the best is. Other great kits are the OFNA Hyper 7 PCR Pro kit, the Thunder Tiger EB4 S2, the Kyosho Inferno 7.5 kit.
