What to do, what to do....
Well, my PBS order got fuxxored in the mail. I contacted the business I bought it from, and luckily it was insured. I was refunded my payment, so now im looking for a different buggy..
Thing is, since I originally ordered the PBS, I have purchased a JR XS3, ko propo servo's and an OPS engine... So now I dont need an RTR, I just need a kit.. Which brings me to my delimma... Which to choose now? My wife has resigned herself to my new expensive sport (and yes, anything that involves a competitive racing environment damn well better be a sport), so I might shell out some more $$$ for a slightly better kit since I have choice hardware coming.. Any suggestions? I know the usual K2/3, MBX and h7 Pro... But im looking at the Crono RS01 also... AHHH!! What to do...

I have my buddy checking on the Crono for me.. I can get the RTR for 950 with good equipment, but I dont need all the stuff it comes with.
Yea, im looking at the k2/k3 also, they look very well built... The decision is killing me, but I guess that is part of the fun eh?

I'd say K3 or Storm Pro. GS makes some really nice items, but from what I hear from Error and EP, you cant go wrong with a K, but they werent the only members, everyone seems to enjoy Ks

You may start to have real trouble finding Storm Pro's since like someone mentioned, they are being replaced by GS's new Avenger buggy. GS discontinued the Storm Pro, but will supply replacement parts for a long time to come.
Not to say that you should avoid the Storm Pro. My Storm RTR is pretty much a Storm Pro now and it's very sweet, lots of racers use them. I have not done any real racing yet, but as far as I can tell the Storm Pro can definately hold it's own in the hands of a good driver. The avenger seems to take some of the better qualities of the Pro and improve on them. It's price is supposed to be about the Storm Pro pricing, which is likely more in your range. Not sure if you can get them yet though. G'luck. |

I had something similar to that happen with the OPS engine I bought... Dude was selling it for $165, i checked the list price here locally (only place that even sells these engines) and he was selling it for 430.... Needless to say, i jumped on the deal
![]() Looks like my search is over now though, ive found a buggy im working out getting at the moment. |
