I don't think they're the same, I had one in my Ultra MBX and it was an awesome torque motor, I've read somewhere it has 2.2hp, but has a rather low rev (~30,000 rpm) and is quite reliable and ran an average 220-240F but can handle up to 270F. I especially like the tall cooling head, not very common to find among RTR motors except the Hyper 21 8P.

I have the same car, and I'm impressed with the motor. I don't know any specs, but it does run well. Everyone I've talked with says to run it fairly hot, but it does have a lot of snort. People I've talked with said to run it at about 270, and others said about 240-250. I just run it to the point where it sounds good. I'm thinking that it wouldn't be a big deal to replace the sleeve and piston if I have any problems. Let me know if you need any tuning help!

you will find claimed HP is a funny thing. It makes you wonder why all the top engine manufacture will not post these results but all the more affordable engine boast cliamed hp like it is going out of style. To many variable with the way people "rate
" the hp or "dyno" the engines. There is no set of industry standards and guidlines on doing this so they don't bother.

All engines are different. If you take great care of it and always maintian it anywhere from 3-6 gallons in normal. You will always have the guy the got 10 gallons on an engine but I run a little leaner than that. I know racers that change the piston sleeve after a gallon to gallon and a half. I don't do that as I feel that's when it was broken in. I expect about 3 gallons out of my racing engines before I would want to change the piston/sleeve. If every bit of power doesnt matter than I would expect 6 gallons "playing around" Everyone is different.
