I'm looking for tires like these but for a buggy. these are 2.2 prolines

Trac-Ta-Gator

Fits any 2.2" truck wheel. Large lug tire is great for back yard thrashing and neighborhood romps.

To fit stadium truck tires on 1/8th scale rims, all you have to do is cut the bead off (i use the outside line, but be aware if you race some places tech the dia of your tire (usually big races), so u may need to keep that inmind if you plan to race). Once cut they they fit right up with the rim. As for them staying on, ive made prob 4-5 sets and not had one come off yet. Attached us a set of my race tires i use for our indoor dirt track(hard packed) (team losi taper pins - pink compound).

those look perfect. i'm gonna give it a try. since the losi is a softer compound does that make them easier to put on. what about the width. do they slide into the grove on the 1/8 with the siwalls cut or on top? thanks for the help.

well softer = wears alot faster. They are cake to put on as is, the side walls sorta curve into the rim bead, so it works out great

slothy,
What type of foams are you using on your cut tires. I have a set of taper pins on the way.
