Mine broke the track record a lot LOL

Parts people complain the most about are the wing and the wheels.

I never broke anything, a few others that had them blew diffs and as Jeff said wheels and wings. Since parts were a problem I got rid of both rather quickly then bought a different buggy. Use to be about 9 or 10 HB running at our track, theres still about 5. Most of us just got tired of waiting for parts or mail ordering them. If you have 2 LHS that stock parts then your in good shape. From what I read HB (Ming Yang/Slacker) has come out with the HB LightningII, I don't know much about it. The cars are great for the money.

Well i know that an ofna hyper 21 8 port should keep up with it if you tune it right. It is like 150. Also if you get the 8 port and put a 16 tooth clutch bell on it it will keep up for sure or smoke it. I did it to my lightning and it rips now way faster then the 21bb(stock engine). But it also depends on what gear the picco has too. Also if you do decie to get an 8 port make sure you losen the glow plug before you start it or you mit rip the pull start sring or blow out the one way bearing. Thats all from the compression on that motor. That should be a good choice in your price range. Also one more thing hot body dude did you break anyparts if you did what?

Nick

thanks for the advice. i am preety sure that the picco is runnig on stock gears. the owner has money but not brains. hehehe iam sure that thiss will waste him.
the only parts that i broke were the front hub carrier and the steering knuckle. but i think that i put the wrong screw in the steering knuckle because the threads were shot. the hub carrier was my fault from coming off of a jump wrong. it did about 6 cartwheels. but other than that it has been a tank. i have put it through everything and it comes out fine.
thaks again
Kyle

Well your welcome. But that is a good thing that it is realy durable because i would much rather put money into hop ups then fixing the thing all of the time. Also what hops ups do you have or is it all stock?

stock diff gears.. waiting to toast them.. when i do ill get hpi savage ones, as far as what ive broke.. i went to austintown bought the last 2 wingstays they had.. wiped mine out again.. im up to my 4th set now.. and have a spare.. but figure 50-60mph, bad jump its all i take out..

still using my stock savage steering servo.. has yet to fail in the 9 months ive had it..

the stock pro tires are the best ive used for the track, the knuckles work good in grass.. and the proline road rages work great on pavement...

too bad the tires are ripping up the body due to ballooning like they do ohhh i also toasted 1 body.. an dworkign on nother one due to tire ballooning.. and thats with tires on ground going wot.. need to get belted ones i think...
