DTX Nitro evader swap

My dad got me the DTX nitro evader St RTR for xmas, but most of the guys at the track I race at are into 1/8th scale buggies. I can exchange the truck for something else but I don't know what to get. No one can give me a straight answer as to what is good. I have been racing for a while with my B4 buggy, and I am pretty good turning a wrench, so I don't need a beginner buggy. The owner of my track says that XTM's X-Terminator is a great buggy and can't recommend it enough. Others say the Kyosho or Ofnas are better, like the MP 7.5 or 9.5.

Then other still say the GS or Mugen cars, etc etc. And still OTHERS say I should trade it for a AE RC10GT, since it is a much better truck.

So, straight answer, what's good and what's not, and tell me why please. Thanks
