Overheating?

Ok ive just come back from running my car and it was going brilliant until i hit a jump at the car flipped the body come off and the exhaust come off i fixed the exhaust but i lsot the clips to my body So i stick the glow plus in and start it up give it a run and bring it by my feet to check everything is running ok and i looked at the exhaust and smoke was coming of the exhaust but the grass was wet so i thought that it might be steam because the water evaporating so i run it and it cut out so i start it up and it keeps cutting out could it be overheating? or running to rich/lean?

Well when you firsxt get your nitro you want alot of smoke threw the break in period. Smoking from the exhaust is a symbol that you are running rich which is good, it keep ur motor cool and well lubricated. I'd invest in a Temp gauge and try to keept he tmp within 200 to 300. Storms are bad about looseing the exhaust i do it all the time. Go ahead and buy some extra couplings and alot of wire ties because they dont last long if ur hard on ur car like am I. If yoour car looses the muffler, i dont think it will hurt it but i dont take any chances, shut it down, let it cool and fix it, dont run it with the exhaust off

Yeh, I turn off the throttle and shut the engine off let the exhaust cool and stick it back on! It falls of because of the blue silicone connector getting hot and expanding i have my zip ties on EXTRA tight!

The place ont he body where the muffler mounts....loose that screw, put ur muffle back together with the rubber coupling, and push the muffler back on it good and tight. Now tighten back up the screw that hold the muffler in place. Or the muffler holder, what ever u wanna call it...If yo uneed help let me know ill send pics
