On my Storm I liked to run yellow springs with blue duals up front and pink with blue duals in the rear. My track has a crazy table top finish line and a knarley set of tripples so I liked 50-55wt in the rear and all the way from 35-45wt up front. I say get a full set of Longs and shorts as well as two sets of the top duals, that's what I did and you can play around with what works for you. I bashed with my Storm like the first to times I ran it and it only saw a track after that so I might not be the best one to give advice here.

Jumping hills and climbing ? Sounds like a monster truck might be better suited for what you like doing. The stock shocks were fine for all around playing but I have upgraded to the mugen shocks with blue springs. They're a bit pricey but haven't seen any better.
As far as oil weights, you'll have to play with that one.

I thought monster trucks would be fun for bashing and stuff but its just not what i wanted. They are built realyl tuff and strong but they lack that sleek look and fealing of driving one to me. Others love your trucks and im not bashin ya, lol. I like drifting, hahahaha but i swear its easier in a real car
