You going to be using it for bashing, racing or both?

if just bashing, then the MBX Pro would be just fine. Stay away from the LX though. If you can save a bit more money, the Hyper 7 Ofna RTR's are alot better than the MBX and the packages start at about 450.00

ya try for the hyper 7 or hyper 7 pbs - a few more bucks, but better parts.

WOW, WOW WOW, Come on, Nobody thinks the Kyosho MPX7.5 RTR is "Da-One"? Check it out at SoutheastRC.com. Best price so far that I've seen.

Go for the Hyper 7 PCR at Ultimatehobbies for $440 shipped. It is in your budget and is RTR. The only thing you might have to do in the future is a steering servo for $40.

This buggy is awesome and built right. Best bang for the buck out there.

i would say the XTM X-Terminator, at www.hobbypeople.net

i have it, it's the deluxe, and i love it, you can get the regular, for 350 or the deluxe, with almost all the hop-ups they make for it, for 450. if you do get this, make sure when you get it, if you want, disassemble it, loc-tite everything, and put it back together, screws somehow find a way of dissappearing from mine when i first ran it.

good luck. i would also look for a 1.5v brick battery, (search about glow plug ignitors) and the connectors. i have one, and it's wicked.

again, good luck with the decisions.
