WoooHooo! It's HERE!!!

Finally, I have my new truck. It's a Team Associated SC8!

I originally ordered it from Tower Hobbies but the one I wanted(Pro Comp) was back ordered. While waiting,I decided to see if I could find a better deal(I am a cheap-skate). Well the cards fell in place and I came across this one. It was brand new opened box but never taken out(it was still strapped in) and I was able to pick it up for $425 shipped. Not bad considering the best I could find is $533 + shipping and then Robmob showed me how to get it for $510 shipped at tower. Even with the extra savings I still kinda wondered if I would be disappointed due to the different body but that went away as soon as I opened the box!

Well enough chit-chat - here she is brand new, fresh out of the box! A VERY rare thing for me!

This thing is stinkin' awesome! Lots of nice features including metal gear servos, hard anno shock bodies and anno's alum shock towers. Also I really like the rollcage.

Of course I have a few upgrades to do right away. I've got LiPo rx battery,I'm upgrading to digital servos and installing my Futaba FASST rx. I've also got a custom body design in mind and I need to decide if I want to put my Picco P3-28 in or use the stock engine. Anyway, it may be a while before I get to break it in, but it's HERE!

That thing looks awesome! There's nothing like getting a brand new RC and knowing that you're the one responsible for every scratch.

Thanks fellas! Yep, it's sweet to have a completely new rig! My last new rig was my Savage almost 5 years ago. Everything else was used with my cheap-o-rebuilds.

I wonder if that cage would fit on my redcat aftershock? Its a 1:8 short course truck too. Not quite on teh same quality level as an AE product but a great deal. I love mine. Im sure you will have a blast.
