Looks like an overseas offering.
It depends on what you want to do. The truggy will be faster, but a lower-slung ride more suited for racing. The MT2 will be more of a monster truck, off road basher. If you're just looking to go tear up the yard or park, the MT2 would be the better of the 2 choices. But if you really want to tear it up and are an HPI fan, I say get the Savage.

HPI Trophy truck? I see a Hot Bodies LSP with an HPI engine.... Come on HPI! When the name of your company includes "racing" build us a good 1/8th buggy and truggy.
The HellFire was a complete flop with a huge price tag.
I love the Savage, now make us a truggy worth buying!
P.S. I'm ranting at HPI bud, sorry.... Definitely go for the trophy truck. It will be more durable and more fun. The engine tunes easy too.

+1 on that RCA! How dang long has it been now? I've had a couple of MT2s and loved em. If I had the choice though, I'd check out that trophy truck. HPI make great products so you really can't go wrong.
