    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

I’m waiting for this rig to be considered vintage before I finish it. Somewhere around here is my other career project.....

A man has to know his limitations. :)

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

I wish I could say you guys have motivated me to finish it up, but you haven't. LOL I actually need to back pedal and take the axles apart to install the VP axle tops. That should be done by the end of the year and I can move on to the electrics. I'm hoping to have those installed by next...

    LMFAO! I suck.

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

At no point does it exceed 12.5" so I'm good.

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

Less than 2 weeks and another update.:D Went with Chaotic Crawlers Ti lower links. I tried mounting Ti uppers, but had issues with clearance. I was going to do a little bending on them, but decided to bend on some Axial 30 degree tubes instead to see how it worked out. Using my arbor press...

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

I'll be using the Axial machined gear set to start. When they fail, I will go RC4WD.

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

I'll probably get an Axial Wraith. That one I will keep stock.:ahem:

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

I was going to keep this one mostly stock. LMAO Once you start down the path, it's hard to stop.

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

It's 2.25" wide so it should be the right one.

Raising this build from the dead. I have been accumulating parts for awhile. Here is a list of what's shown: EEM SNG High Clearance MOA Chassis in Delrin Chaotic Crawlers Steering Link in SS Rowdy Racing Batt Mount VP Brass Knuckles VP Motor Plates VP Tranny Cases VP Chubs VP...

I am so looking forward to getting away. Driving down Thurs evening so we can help setup the TGN booth on Friday. I will take plenty of pics to post. Badger will also have a spot in the TGN booth and will be broadcasting live which will be cool.

EEM SNG HC MOA in Delrin has been ordered this morning. Should have it by the end of the week. Too bad I will be at RCX all weekend.

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

I am starting to lean towards dumping the stock chassis and going with a SNG HC for this.

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

As soon as I saw there was a problem I decided to shelf it until the solutions were released. Having my Mosi to mess with made it an easy choice. Of course now I think I have toasted the front worm/spool in my Mosi so it's out of commission as well. I will be replacing the gears with the new HD...

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

LMFAO! I do actually have the axles put together. I even have pics, but never got around to posting them. I will be taking the axles apart to install all the new stuff.

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

creeeeeaaaaaakkkkkkk..... Opening this one back up. Just got the confirmation that the last of the machined gears I ordered back in mid Jan has shipped. The pile of upgrade parts will be complete soon and then all I have to do is start over on this build essentially. I should have it done by...

    XR10 (My Chris-Craft Project)

Thanks. LOL I blame Halo Reach on the XBox 360. When I get the rear lockouts from Vanquish next week, I plan on finishing this up. My plan to keep this stock went out the window. LOL Had to order parts and hardware 3 times to get everything I needed.

I can't take it. Some of this plastic has to go. I ordered a set of machined hi-clearance links to replace the stock plastic upper links. I am still thinking about what I want to do with the lowers.
