Just yesterday, as I was carrying my trx back down (see pic), I noticed it did the same thing as yours as it swung around in my hand. The servo does have a lot of play in all directions and I suspect the potentiometer is worn too. Time for a new one just like you I guess. :)

I would have bet it was the gyro, but if you say there isn't one... it's gotta be the servo. Are you absolutely positive there's no gyro? :)
