These last few weeks have been killer for me. This is certainly not the time for my players to lay an egg. I don't think anyone has smoked the competition these last couple. I need Manning to have like 35 pts to win this week. I took a gamble not to start Julio Jones, and he has a great day...
I'm surprised it was as close as it was. Just didn't get the performance out of my players I needed. If I could have gotten a "typical" Peyton manning day... I would be moving on. That's how it goes in fantasy football though. Now I'm playing for top 3, which still aint bad.
Got hit by the injury bug. With Julio out and Manning not 100% my team tanked. It was still a really close game though. Congrats to Belacheatsvidioguy on a solid performance. Good luck in the Championship round!
I agree with you 100% Yahoo needs to make head to head more important than points scored.... because really... in fantasy in my opinion the only thing that should matter is winning.
That is my biggest fear going into the playoffs. At least now since the League makes most of the last few games division match ups, teams don't rest players as much. I remember a few years ago Kansas City rested a bunch of their players including Duane Bowe and the Packers rested Rodgers...
It is a really was a pretty even match with everyone this year. There is a real battle for playoff spots with a lot of teams at 8-5 or 7-6. This coming week is going to be interesting.
Usually playing me is the streak buster... just ask Pete and Joe! I don't think Pete has lost since he beat me... and I was the heavy favorite in our match up. :)
You and Joe are the guys I worry about the most! LOL You are they guys I end up playing in the 2nd round and loose to... of course if I have to play Carsten in the first round its over any way! LOL
