I don't have experience with it ,but I bash with Bones brew 30% nitro with 9% oil ,which is race fuel ,you
can always run a little on the rich side to compensate!
You can act like your racing!...🤣😂😂
Race heats can last up to 45 minutes long with out stopping that is more brutal on an engine...
I seen people use a fuel with more oil content for break in ,infact ,Bones brew makes a break in fuel!
Some people will actually buy Traxxas fuel for break in an then transfer over to a better quality!
So yea ,you can run a quart or two for the first time ,you will also need an extra plug ,break...
There is only two major fuel companies that produce nitro ,but once it goes to the companies that mixes it for RC use ,
you just got to find what is right for you ,the Hot fire sounds good with that oil blend ,just because it sounds like less
oil doesn't mean that it really is by volume ,it is...
I guess you got me there ,I never ran any fuel less than 20% an even with that percentage I never had to remove a shim ,but
do know that removing head shim changes ignition timing & compression!..😂
I use different fuels % over the years in my engines with out doing anything special but a little retune an they
still run!
It is other things that will get you like air leaks ,dried o-rings an bad tank pressure issues!..😂
High oil content fuel is good for break-ins ,nothing more!
