Well ,as far as longevity ,I think that both sets have been on the engines for at least 5 years now ,if that helps!...:cool:

On my street car with the 21 size engine ,the brand is racers edge an on the basher ,they are an Ofna brand ,there is plenty Ofna alum. shoes on E-bay! Here is a pic ,not clear ,an all 3 alum. is on there ,they are the Racers edge,but on my truck ,I do have 2 alum.s an 1 comp.

Yea ,I do ,I run 2 alum. along with one composite! The aluminum ones last longer ,an gets more bite contact with the bell ,the composite one acts like a wiper!

I am not sure what sizes Robinson made for the Mgt trucks ,I had never bought any new from them ,the one that I have , came in a LOT of parts that I got from E-bay! The stock Mgt. spurs are 52t ,an yes ,stock brake rotors an are original ,got to be hitting 15 years old!...LOL

Is that a 54 spur or 52 ,if it is the 54 ,then that maybe the reason that you have good top end with that bell ,although ,I think the 21 size engine may have more torque!

Some of the other trucks MIP pins & set screws may work or interchange with the Mgt.'s as well!

The original steering rack on the Mgt. were bushings ,but I had installed bearings on mine ,but I can't remember what they were ,I had to shim mine though because of the thicker skid plate that I made!

Yea ,those would hender the shift ,not leaned out enough ,but you could have that way do to the cold!

If it is stuck in second ,then you need to tighten up the 2spd paw a little! If it is stuck in first ,back the set screw up about an 1/8 turn!
