Got the shock tower on ,but I want to take some of the top off of it ,its way too high for my taste ,also going to make
some changes on the rear shocks ,I don't think they need that much travel ,don't like the length of them either.
An I do have the front bottom a-arms ,need to put those on to...

Lol...yea ,I don't know why they made that part so weak,they even weakened it more when the cut some fancy diamond shape
holes in it ,an the aluminum paper thin.Geez...the plastic is probably tougher than that!...:eek:

The old one ,the factory had a cut out for décor in which further weakened the part along with it being too thin!

The plate is part of the steering an holds the steering rack in place.
I could have it powder coated or put some black paint back on as I do have some
chlorinated pool paint left!
Heres what I've done so far...

I cleaned the edges up some more ,I can clean until the black marker is gone ,
an fine tune the shape ,flatten & round edges with a file!....:cool:
Finally dug that piece out ,try to get it cut out today or tomorrow!...:cool:
It looks bad ,but should clean up ,theres plenty of meat on there to grind it fresh ,an the old part
is like spaghetti compared to this stuff!....:D
