That is very cool. Seeing that motorcycle fairing reminds me of that movie "The Indian" with Anthony Hopkins. Love that movie.
The DR10 looks great on the setup table, but it needs some competition lined up next to it 😉
I love it man. One of these days, could you please do a video walk through of your whole garage? I am dying to see it in a vid. It's gonna look awesome once you get the signs done 😉
I thought those were ocean buoys!
I got ya covered. Just put a sign on the overhead door that says BEER COOLER. Then we'll just pretend the non-modeled side of the garage has huge monster truck sized bay doors 😉
I have found if I clean mine it inspires me to get to work messing it right back up. But in straightening my workbench, I end up creating messes everywhere else. I need lots of shelves.
I have seen those, but the problem is you need 2 tracks close together to get the arms under the chassis. That means one track won't be on a stud. With that system I am looking at, you screw the top track into each stud and the vertical rails can just slide where you need them. It is a little...
Well that's good. In Indiana weather it would already be a rust bucket. I had my machinist tools, that were always oiled down, stored in my garage one time for a week after changing jobs, and I had to deal with a lot of rust issues.
I have been looking at all different kinds of systems like the Slatwall, freestanding shelving units, custom construction, etc. For holding up to 12 cars this seems to be the most flexible and cheapest way. If I did a freestanding shelf rack I would still have to find a solution like yoga blocks...
I am considering this stuff. Bolt in one track across the top, then the vertical shelf tracks can slide side to side. It will be about $200 to hold 12 cars.
