I learned a long time ago it's better to build them from scratch or start with a roller/slider. I have maybe $500 in my Slashpede 4x4 that started as a used rtr. If I would have bought it at retail the build would be much closer to $1,000.
Idk about the E Revo but I am in a Summit group on Facebook with around 12k members that is highly active.
