    I dont really see the similarities your talking about. I'm not very familiar with the co but at a glance it looks like the shock are similar but not much else. Here's how I see these rc's. The Slash with the LCG chassis is already too low for off-road bashing so I couldn't imagine wanting it...

    The Slash is one of the better Traxxas rc's for sure! You have to go to a 6mm output shaft in the diffs to use the xo, Revo, or maxx cvd's , the diff case and gears are the same. I have seen the stock Revo shafts cut shorter and used on the Slash also

    Did a speed test today, geared 18/54 powered by a pair of Traxxas 3S 1400 packs that I used in the merv.     Just installed the Sidewinder 8th, it's like Traxxas was expecting this upgrade. The RX box has to be moved up front, the chassis already has the mounting holes for this.
