    I don't think that's quite correct. If your clutch shoes did not disengage, the tires would spin while you're trying to start it. Again, what exactly is it doing that indicates a problem?

    Not exactly sure what your issue is. The clutch from the engine will disengage when you get off the throttle but the entire drive train will still be turning. Just what is happening that makes you think there's a problem with it?
