If your friends fine with 2wd, I'd go with something from Team Associated. The Slash isn't a bad truck and parts are easier to get, it's just a much more dated platform, it's very prone to traction rolling with the stock chassis (yes you can buy a LCG chassis, but most other SCTs are LCG from...- Panko75
