Yeah that's it ,kinda what I was expecting it to look like so was shocked when it wasn't, do you think its worth me getting the dremel out and grinding it back like the the one in your pic so it matches the port in the block ??

    Engine swap help

Also managed to find the correct exhaust and header for the cen nt-16 engine so I can put the exhaust back in its place and should be better for it as I'm assuming that because it's the pipe that would of been on it to start with (the cen) it should be tuned/ compatible for it .just waiting for...

When I gave it a quick fire up this morning after mounting it , I put it on a brick and and gave it a tiny bit of throttle just to get it all spinning and check the mesh ? so far so good , but yes I'll definitely break it in slowly and check just in case anything shifts about a bit ?

Going to take it out tomorrow afternoon after Morrison's closes lol (big car park) And give a few runs and get it tuned and see how the two speed holds up and adjust the clutch on 2nd gear if needed so it changes at the point I want it to .can't wait to give it blast . Still got a few bits to...

    Engine swap help

Yep that's what was on it when it arrived , I've gone with this set up for the moment until I can find an appropriate header that fits right and allows the exhaust to sit back down on the chassis like the original was . It's not going to win any beauty contests but it allows me to use it until...

    Engine swap help

Could I just bolt on that one in the pic that came with it and has the correct size hole and just use some silicone tube with the same i.d or something similar to just make a (U) shape pipe and use it as link/conector piece?? Would this have any adverse effects?? Cheers

    Engine swap help

I know this probably has a simple answer but....... whats the best way to make sure I get the holes in the right place ? With the engine resting on the chassis I can see exactly where it needs to be but the minute I take it of it becomes a bit of a guessing game lol like I said probably an easy...

    Engine swap help

Just offered it all up to see, to get it all to sit right and mesh/line up I would have to make 4 new holes anyways as the none of them line up ,front ones need to be moved forward and apart and the back single one is no good as the cen has 2 at the back not 1 , so it's looking like a drill job...
